okay, this idea pop up from one of the recent student application i need to fill in.
as the topic subject suggest, is there a particular place you want to go for your next travel, or your dream place to go? and, is there a particular place or country you dont want to go? why
i'd like to go to australia. i've heard so much about the barier rief, that if i could just be there for a second it would mean so much.
hmmm.... i wouldn't like to go to any country that's threatened by war. it would not make for a nice journey.
I'd love to go to Mexico, anywhere in the UK, France, Africa...somewhere, Tibet, Japan, and Thailand. I agree with Dan. I don't think I'd want to go anywhere threatened by war.
I'd really like to visit Finland and iceland. they are incredibly interesting places.
I don't want to go to France ever ever again.
I'd like to go to China because it's such a rich culture. I certainly would not go to Mexico because everyone that goes ends up so sick they shit out their internals.
Hahaha. that's what I've heard too. It really says something when they recommend you get a few vaccines before going there.
I'd love to take a tour of Australia. I heard that the people there are awesome.
Well, we are quite awesome, but I would definitely not be biased now, would I?
As for where I would like to go, I'd love to see Ireland, the US, New Zealand, and the rest of Australia. Countries like Tibet and Bali would also be interesting. I'll stay away from war zones.
I would like to go to Germany because I heard it has a lake district like the UK. The Germans likes cakes to. I wouldn't like to go anywhere with war iether.
I'd go to Germany or Spain, but not France.
Why are so many people against going to France? Just curious.
i want to go to UK, Ireland, US, Canada, most part of Western and Central Europe, some part of Eastern Europe, Japan, China, New Zealand, and Australia itself.
no Africa, (except South Africa) Indonesia, India, Philipines, Pakistan, or any country that is on political tratt or war
Because the french tend to be rude and they hate Americans. Not all...but the majority of Paris and well it spills over. Also, the rats.
I don't know if France is the same as Quebec, the only totally French-speaking province in Canada, but if you go to Quebec, there's no flexability for people who don't speak French. In fact, if you go into a restaurant and ask them a question in English, in some of the more strict places there, you can get kicked out. I know they want to hold on to their culture, but they don't even try to help you if you don't speak French.
I think I'll just leave the war zone countries alone, thanks. I've been to cyprus a couple of years ago to see my nan and grandad and want to go back there after I've finished college for a couple of weeks, though not as long as last time. I would also like to go to Spain and the US some day. It would take a lot of saving, but maybe one day.
I was in France for a short time a few years ago, and I can back up what has been said.
the French dislike people from the UK and the US and also some parts of europe like Germany. They do however like australians, but I have such a soft accent that british people think I'm one of theirs.
also, they are very arrogant about their language, and I am the first person to say that anyone wanting to travel to a country for any length of time should learn a bit of the language of that country. However I was only transeting to somewhere else, so I didn't. everyone was incredibly rude to me because of this.
so there's absolutely no way I'd want to go back.
I'll even avoid the French speaking part of switzerland because of this atitude. they are supposed to learn both languages, however while the german swiss people happily do this, the french speakers will more often than not force the german speakers to speak french if they come to the german part of switzerland rather than speak german.
well, they can stay on their side of the world then.
i was in france 32 years ago. it was an icky dirty place filled with arrogant rude people who would knock you down and then get mad 'cause you fell in their way. Their metro is very confusing too.
Now, where I'd like to travel. I'm going to alaska in May. That's a place I've always wanted to visit. Someday I'd love to journey to russia and scandinavia. Next year I'd like to take a trip to seattle.
Places I would not like to visit. Cancoon. Why would anyone want to go there? Africa. I am afraid of those animals, and with my luck the tsetse fly would bite me. India has terrible air quality and I have asthma. No thanks.
I've been to Israel. In fact, I spent two weeks there. It was interesting. In Mexico, I've been there too, don't drink the water. I'd like to visit the UK, Australia, and many more places.
Australia, the UK, and New Zealand are three places I'd like to visit. Why would I go to New Zealand? well, to visit a friend. No, she is not here on the zone.
I'll stay away from the ones where wars are going on.
I would love to visit Colorado & Dallas Texas again. I found Texans to be a very welcoming people. I would love to visit Alaska too, experience the Russian and Inuit influence.
Other countries, I have heard such arrogance on the part of not even native Europeans but people I know who have spent time there...a lot of anti wealthy, a lot of "You have no sophistication living all your life in the states" a lot of nose up in the air and "Every country provides day care for working mothers and health care for all of its citizens", just a lot of contempt for people whose circumstances and ideas are different from their own, I've changed my mind about wanting to visit ANY European country.
I would love for Mexico to be able to control its drug related violence so I could visit parts of that nation, the Aztec/Maya heritage. Perhaps more stable parts of Latin America would be interesting...Costa Rica, Uruguay, Chile. I could brush up on my Spanish before going.
I doubt you'd get mixed up in a drug war. Lol. But Alaska could be interesting.
